Med-City Cornhole Tournament

Chip Shots, in collaboration with Med-City Cornhole , is organizing a highly competitive and social cornhole tournament on July 22, 2023. Not only that, we added a concert performance by O’Rion and the Cosmonauts. So even if you are not into cornhole, this will be great evening to enjoy!
The tournament offers substantial payouts that improve with an increased number of participating teams. Additionally, trophies will be awarded to the winners.
Each division will have a 100% payout, making participation mandatory to benefit fully from the event.
There is no cost up front to register and the information is below: There will three (3) events throughout the day, there is no limit on how many events to signup for.

Schedule:
Singles begins at 10:00 am
Doubles begins at 2:00 pm
Blind Draw begins at 6:00pm
Live Music starts at 7:00pm
Gameplay Divisions:
Singles: Starting at 10:00 am, singles gameplay is 1 vs 1 against opponents of same skill level. It will be a round robin tournament, and the leader with the most points after the tournament takes home the winnings. 20.00 a person for social and 40.00 a person for competitive, all being paid back to the winners.
Doubles: Teams can register with a pre-determined partner and compete against other teams. The teams will maintain the same partner throughout the day and earn points in a head-to-head scoring format. Competitors will be matched against players of similar skill levels to ensure competitive balance. 40.00/team Social and 60.00/team competitive.
Blind Draw: Each person registered will be randomly assigned a partner as you take on the gauntlet of competition to decide the winner. The team with the highest accumulative points is declared the World Champion. This event will have two (2) brackets, the competitive 40.00/person bracket, and the social 10.00/person bracket.
The tournament includes two divisions: Social and Competitive. Both divisions offer 100% payouts, with higher payouts corresponding to a greater number of participating teams.
Social Division: Designed for new players, this division offers a fun and unique experience while maintaining a competitive format.
Competitive Division: For those seeking top-notch competition, Med-City Cornhole promises an impressive display and exceptional competition.
The winners of each division will receive 100% of the payouts: Additionally, the champions may receive trophies and have their names featured on the championship banner for recognition.
How it works:
Head-to-Head Matchups: Once teams are established, a head-to-head format is implemented, where each match contributes points towards the team’s total. The team with the highest point total at the end of the event will be declared the winner.
Round Robin Format: This format ensures competitive balance by enabling teams to compete against a variety of opponents, accumulating points along the way to determine the ultimate winner.
Point Standings: Participants earn points for each victory and every match played. The team with the highest point total in each match will be crowned the champions.
Scoring apps: Participants are encouraged to download the Scoreholio app, which facilitates tracking of points, ratings, and overall standings. This app provides easy access for all players to log in, find events, and compete.
Live Standings: Stay updated with real-time standings, schedules, and gameplay through the Scoreholio app, allowing participants to track their ranking accurately.
Food & Drink Specials: Enjoy various food and drink specials, including buckets of beer, cocktails, and discounted food items, available throughout the tournament to ensure participants never go hungry or thirsty.
Live Music: O’Rion & the Cosmonauts will take stage at 7:00 and will put on a performance for the ages, be sure to stick around and enjoy some great music as you hold up your trophy.
