Open Play at Chip Shots in Rochester, MN is the place to play. We operate on a registration process to ensure the highest quality play to all.
Our morning play, the most popular. will run in 2 hour sessions, 8:00 am and 10:00 am. Play will run 5 days a week, Monday – Friday. and will operate on a registration only process, limiting to 16 players per session. Our user-friendly paddle system ensures seamless participation—just place your paddle on the rack, and the next paddle up plays next.
Winning players remain on the court for two consecutive games before yielding to the next challenger, promoting fair and organized gameplay. If no players are waiting, winners must rotate out and switch partners after two consecutive wins.

The cost to participate in Open Play session is $10.00 for a non-member. Punch Cards are also available for purchase in 10 and 20 punches that would get you $5.00 Open Play, with no commitments. Memberships will include unlimited Open Play at no cost. If interested in a membership, click here:
To secure your spot in our morning Open Play, players are required to signup via the Global Pickleball Network platform. Open play is limited to 16 players per slot, or 6 per court. This is to ensure that quality of play and equitable play throughout. Once full, no more players will be allowed, and a waitlist will be established. Walk-ins are not recommended, as there is no guarantee to get on the court.
